If you haven't seen Shaft, AfroSquad wants you to quit wasting their bandwidth and start hanging around here instead. To put it simply- AfroSquad strongly feels that there should be a present day remake of Shaft with our man Samuel Jackson....but before that happens, we all gotta unite and make Shaft the bomb of the post-modern nineties. John Shaft is the star of the flick. He's got a gig as a Private Dick and the police come to him whenever they get stuck on a case or confused (Note: They are always stuck and confused). Shaft has street smarts and perfected the art of Mac-Daddy. |

Vic is a lieutenant at the police department and on Shaft's good side. He is stuck on a case and confused throughout the movie (See above). Without Shaft, he'd probably hafta be a bad guy to make a decent living. |

Ben is a high-up officer of a little Harlem revolutionary club that demands justice for the Afican-American community. Back in the day, he and Shaft had similar hobbies and hung out together. Now, to save the day, Ben and Shaft reunite to beat the mob (See below). |

Bumpy is the boss the biggest organized gang in Harlem. Shaft and Ben hate him- but he is gonna pay them lots of dinero to rescue his daughter from an out-of-town mob of white guys he managed to piss off. |
