Assembly Programming Journal is an online magazine covering assembly language programming techniques. The magazine will come out in
ASCII format (natch) every three months, and will contain code and articles for beginner, intermediate, and advanced asm progammers.

| APJ is currently seeking submissions from demo coders, OS spelunkers, optimization Gurus, virus/patch writers, and other experts in the field of assembly language. Quality ASCII art submissions for issue covers, column headers, and gallery images are in demand as well. Finally, the possibility of starting an ASM snippets section in each issue should encourage readers to send in interesting assembly code routines. | ||||||||||
| Suggested topic areas for articles would include: inline asm routines; tips for using MASM, TASM, NASM, GAS or other assemblers; DOS, Windows, Linux, or other OS-specific asm code techniques; ix86, MIPS, Alpha, Motorola, or other processor-based coding; EPROM, PIC, bootstrap, or direct-hardware coding; demo, game, graphics or virus programming; software protection schemes, code optimization, en/decryption, processor-specific code; in short, anything and everything assembler. | ||||||||||
| Currently the APJ is a quarterly magazine with a subscription base of approximately 500 readers. The release date of each APJ issue is directly dependent on the number and timeliness of articles received for the issue; a total of 10 articles need to be written or received before an issue will be released. For this reason, readers are encouraged to submit articles or code snippets which will be of interest to the assembly language programming community. In short, the more articles that are received, the more issues will be released. | ||||||||||
