The high-density synchronous serial port adapters provide up to eight synchronous serial interfaces through a single port that has a 200-pin, Molex receptacle. Three versions of this port adapter exist for V.35, X.21, and RS-232 applications. Each port on these interfaces provides full-duplex operation at up to 2.048 Mbps.
