The Directory List displays the directory tree that is the standard element of interface. The full path of the current directory and the number of nodes in the File List are displayed in the Current Directory Name label in the upper part of the window.
Selecting a directory node, by pressing Enter or clicking on it with the left mouse button, opens the node in the file list. The first time a node on this list is opened C-Forge scans the contents of the directory. While the directory is being scanned the word "Scanning..." is displayed in the Directory Name label.
The File List displays all files that are found in the current directory node. Selecting a file node, by clicking the OK button, will close the dialog returning the selected node to the calling command.
The File List can be filtered using the Filter text field that is the standard element of interface.
Files displayed in the File List can be viewed in two formats Brief or Full as in File Selection dialog depending on the mode of the Brief/Full Info button.
Selecting Project Specific Check-box causes files to be copied to the Stable Directory, specified in Destination path combo-box. Files in the Stable Directory can be modified without affecting other users. If the box is not checked, the file remains in its original directory and only the link will be added to the project. In this case the path of the file will be displayed near the file icon in the Project Desktop.
Cancel - closes the dialog window without adding any items.
Filter - filters the current directory according to the filter criteria.
New File - opens a New File dialog to add a new source file to Destination path.
Full/Breif Info - selects full/brief file viewing mode.
Help - shows this help window.
