Pick off third base runner:
Wait until the CPU has a runner on third base. Hold the Joystick Left, press [Shift], then quickly press Fire.

Easy home runs:
Push the Joystick diagonally to move your batter into the top corner of home plate. Wait until the pitcher throws, and the ball is visible before swinging. If timed correctly, any hit will be a home run.
