IA-64 may not be junk

After posting one long comment (see
the UGeek news item) from an unnamed British engineer, The Register has
now posted a comment from an Aussie engineer saying that IA-64 is revolutionary
and that the first engineer doesn't know what he's saying.

ROB'S OPINION
If you read my opinion of the first article, you know that I think Intel will
not bet the farm on junk technology. There may be problems, but Intel is generally
so far ahead of the curve that it can correct the problems and release the good
version of any chip before the others catch up.
Anyway, I've had about enough of this IA-64 fight for now.
