Abit has announced a socket 370 motherboard featuring support for dual processors--with two sockets on the board for socket 370 chips, such as the Intel Celeron. The board is entitled the BP6 and offers Ultra DMA/66 support as well as dual Celeron capabilities.

The BP6 uses the Intel 440BX chipset and expands on the design to offer more features than Intel motherboards.

ROB'S OPINION
MSI has its 6905 V.1.1 Slot 1 to Socket 370 chip converter that allows you to use any slot 1 dual board with Celerons in place. Not a bad deal.

However, it looks like Abit is making it even easier with the new BP6. I bet Intel doesn't like this one bit, but all the performance freaks should love it.
