Java Specification Request (JSR)

The Java Specification Request (JSR) is the first step in developing or revising an Java technology specification (see Section 1 of the Java Community Process document for details).

Participants who have signed a JSPA can file a JSR by filling out the JSR HTML Template and submitting it via e-mail to jsr-submit@sun.com).

The following list contains news JSRs that have been recently submitted to the JCP. You are encouraged to read them and send your comments to jsr-comments@sun.com.

Your comments are important. They help to decide whether a JSR is accepted or rejected.
