For general programming/installation questions it is recommended that you join the java3d-interest@sun.com mail alias.  This alias has many Java 3D^TM experts willing to help others out and exchange ideas.  Also the J3D.org web page is an excellent site to get information about Java 3D.

For comments or suggestions regarding the Java 3D 1.2 API specification, send email to java3d-comments@sun.com.

To report bugs or performance degradations from a prior release of Java 3D, please follow these guidelines:

1. Check the Java 3D 1.2 known bugs to see if the bug has already been reported.
2. Send an email to java3d-beta@sun.com with the following information:
• Short description of the problem
• Configuration information

Please include the hardware platform,
Operating System and version and
graphics adaptor (e.g. Intel PIII 600,
64 MB RAM, MS-Windows NT 4.0,
Diamond FireGL 4000). Include
additional configuration information that
you think is relevant to the problem.
• A small example program that demonstrates the problem
• Text of any error message(s) that appeared
