JavaCheck^TM, is a developer tool for testing whether applications and applets will be compatible with Java^TM platforms and can, thus, run on many types of devices. It analyzes Java class files to find dependencies not included in a particular Java API specification. This helps developers to write Java applications and applets that can run safely on different Java platforms.

JavaCheck reads platform specification files (.spc), files of a specific Java specification that have been encoded.
