| Web Programmer
Play Incorporated is looking for an experienced, creative programmer to help us develop custom web-based solutions, including database design and integration. This guru would add new functionality and maintain our existing Play; investigate and learn new technologies that can be used for future internet development; assist in site reporting, tracking and maintenance; and write programs to improve efficiency. The qualified candidate would have at least 2 years of web programming experience in HTML, JavaScript, and Perl. ASP, C/C++ backgrounds also helpful. Who is Play?
In a nutshell, Play is a Sacramento-based (our 3D Division is located in Santa Ana, CA), privately held high-tech company that is fast becoming a leader in the areas of 3D and Broadcast Technology. Five years ago, we launched the image-capture device industry with the release of our first product, Snappy, whose custom chip (HD-1500) holds the world's record for video resolution. To date, Snappy has won more awards that any other video product in history. Years later, Play released its breakthrough $5000 broadcast television production system made possible through the invention of 22 custom processors and a million lines of software code. More recently, our technology was behind three-quarters of the digital effects within Phantom Menace for George Lucas and destroyed LA for James Cameron in Terminator II.
