DECnet for Linux
A project to provide DECnet phase IV connectivity
for Linux Pre-built X-Servers
|
I have only tested the Intel S3 and SVGA servers and the SPARC Xsun server. I have tested none of the Alpha ones. They are built from the same modified source tree as the Intel ones so should be fine. if you try an Alpha X-server please let me know how you get on.
To Install
Identify the X-server you are using:
For RedHat 5
$ ls -l /etc/X11/X
For Debian 2
$ head /etc/X11/Xserver
You should see a reference to a file called XF86_<something> (or
probably Xsun for SPARCstations). Take a backup copy of that file and then
download a replacement from the list below. when you have downloaded the file
gunzip it and copy it into place in /usr/X11R6/bin. You will need
to be root to do this.
