Author Topic:   root partition at install?????
LaFox I'm trying the install linux redhat 5.2 on a computer without any other op system. The install guide tells nothing (that I've found) for this trouble: I hit "install" , "custom" , "no"(scsi conf) , "DISK DRUID" now I'm in Current Disk Partitions : lost at this point??? if I hit "ok" I get this error message: "NO ROOT PARTITION You must assign a root ( / ) partition to a linux native partition (ext2) for the install to proceed." PLEASE HELP????????? How do I Assign a root partition? It will not let me install other wise. Thanx
