Send to FrontPage 2000 from PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2
If you have Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 Version 2 and Microsoft
FrontPage® 2000 installed on your computer, you can transfer Web images,
banners, navigation buttons, and backgrounds directly from PhotoDraw into
FrontPage.
- Start FrontPage and open the page you want to add
pictures to.
- In PhotoDraw, open or create the picture you want to
send to the active Web page.
- On the Save Send menu, click Send to Microsoft
FrontPage.
- In the Send to Microsoft FrontPage dialog box, do
one of the following:
To place the picture on a new page in the active
FrontPage-based web, click To new web page. PhotoDraw will save
the picture in the FrontPage-based web's Images folder.
To add the picture at the beginning of the active Web page,
click To top of active page. When you save the modified page in
FrontPage, you can choose where to save the picture that PhotoDraw
created.
To add the picture at the end of the active Web page, click
To bottom of active page. When you save the modified page in
FrontPage, you can choose where to save the picture that PhotoDraw
created.
To use the picture as a Web page background, click As
background on active page. When you save the modified page in
FrontPage, you can choose where to save the background picture.
- If you want to send the picture as a thumbnail instead
of a full-sized picture, click Send image as thumbnail. PhotoDraw
will create a thumbnail with a hyperlink to the full-sized image.
- If you want to control how PhotoDraw should export the
picture, click Options in the Send to Microsoft FrontPage
dialog box.
- Click OK.
Your picture appears as a table in FrontPage, where each object
in the picture appears in its own cell. To see what the picture will look
like in a Web browser, click the Preview tab in Page view in
FrontPage. To view the HTML code that PhotoDraw created, click the
HTML tab in Page view.
If Microsoft FrontPage 2000 isn't open when you follow these
steps, PhotoDraw will launch FrontPage and place the picture on a new Web
page even if you made another export selection.
Note If you use an earlier version of
FrontPage, you will not be able to use the Save Send menu. Instead,
you need to save your picture as a Web page using the Save for Use In
Wizard (File menu). If you do not have FrontPage installed
on your computer, the Send to Microsoft FrontPage command is not
available in PhotoDraw.
