Open Games is a new web site devoted to the development of open source games. I've often found myself in need of help when developing a game. My search usually turned up fruitless; nothing out on the web is of great help. While one can find many tutorials and lots of documentation, it is all very specific to a certain library, game engine, or project. Just getting started can be a hassle for new-comers to game development, and experts can rarely find help for their complicated obstacles.
Open Games will change all that! Here, you can ask all the questions you want! Read technical articles by some of the brightest minds out there! Download a clip of source code to assist in implementing a feature you're stuck on, or browse a list of the software libraries available to open-source game developers. You will find the help you're looking for right here.
