Welcome to the Stock Challenge, the best place to learn about investing in Internet companies by trading a $100,000 virtual stock portfolio. Whether you're just starting out or are an Internet stock expert, this is your opportunity to test your stock picking strategy and compete for a total of $2,000 in cash prizes!. Here's How it Works Monthly Challenges begin on the first of each month. The November game is currently underway and closed to new registrants. You may however, register for the upcoming December Challenge at anytime before the deadline of 11:59 pm ET on Wednesday, December 1st. Once the challenge begins, you can trade any stock listed in internet.com's Internet Stock List. When registering, you must also select the ISDEX value for the end of the challenge in the event of a tie. The current ISDEX value may be found at www.isdex.com. There will be one (1) first-place, and one (1) second-place winner for each monthly Stock Challenge. The first-place winner will receive $1,500 and the second-place winner will receive $500. Watch the leaderboard to the right for leaders of the active Challenge; click on the highlighted name to see portfolio holdings, daily transactions and charts of historical performance. Once you've registered you may begin executing trades right away. Portfolios in the Challenge are ranked by percentage change during the Challenge period, not by total portfolio value. Your performance will not be determined by the dollar value of your portfolio, but by its percentage gain from the Challenge start date through the Challenge end date. See complete rules.
