• The Mint offers a new, free screensaver called
  the "Big Coin-hunah Coin Collecting Screensaver".
  It will be used to showcase the many fascinating coin collectibles offered by the Mint.

July 1999

• Colonel Eileen Collins and her crew carry 22-karat gold
  versions of the New Dollar Coin on the Columbia space shuttle.

May 1999

• The New Dollar Coin featuring Native American heroine Sacagawea was unveiled at a White House ceremony May 4, 1999. The Mint held a live Webcast of the event. The new coin will be released into circulation in 2000.

April 1999
