If you download the ms ODBC drivers for mySQL you can use mySQL the same way you would use Access or MS SQL. There will be some database specific differences in SQL syntax but the asp does not change.
I have been playing with myODBC for mySQL but do not know how reliable it is yet. If anyone knows more about it I would like to hear it.
