How JITI Builder Extends the Microsoft Office
It is true that You can enter custom document properties and
other document properties directly from your Microsoft Office Product.

Controlled
Vocabularies
Microsoft provides a document property dialog. This dialog is good for
simple property entry but does not provide the enhanced feature of JITI
Builder.

There is no facility within
Microsoft Office for controlled sets of values
(Vocabularies) for the entry of document properties. JITI
Builder provides two sets of updateable vocabularies. |
The category and subject fields
provide user definable selection lists which can be modified
easily via the main menu of the wizard. This provides added power
and the assurance that everyone is using the same definers for the
category and subject.
The Category/Subject Editor
allows you to edit and save your list files. In addition, there is
a spell check facility to help with the creation of the list.
