Participant Review of Draft Specifications
When an Expert Group completes the first draft of their
specification (see Section 5
of the JCP), they will make it available for Participant Review as
described in Section 6.
Download Participant Review Drafts
The following draft specifications are available for Participant Review.
The links below are password protected and only available to companies
or organizations who have signed a Java Specification Participation Agreement
(JSPA). Participants can obtain a userid and password to access the draft
specifications by sending an e-mail to
participant-access@sun.com.
The download pages will tell when each review period closes
and where you can send comments. The Expert Group writing each
draft is required to read and respond to all comments submitted.

Not a Participant?
Don't worry, everyone gets a chance to review draft specifications!
After Participant Review finishes, Public Review starts as described in
Section 7 of the JCP.
Public Review lasts at least 30 days and is open to everyone
with access to the Internet.
Specifications currently open for Public Review can be found on
the Public Review Page.
The JCP welcomes your participation. You are part of the international
Java community that has made the Java platform what it is today!
