I have long been interested in Linux/Unix. I hate MS and that whole monopoly and love not only the concept behind Linux (as freeware), but the fact that it makes better use of the hardware you have.

I am trying to get myself started on a new Linux machine and am looking to find Linux replacements for the MSOffice products and my Internet products. Does anyone have any advice?
