COM+

At the 1997 Professional Developers Conference in San Diego, CA, Microsoft announced plans for COM+, an extension to the Component Object Model (COM). COM+ builds on COM's integrated services and features, making it easier for developers to create and use software components in any language, using any tool. Delivered on the Microsoft® Windows® platform, COM+ is designed to preserve and extend developers' current investments in COM. Applications currently using COM technology will work in the COM+ environment. Follow the links below to learn more about COM+.

COM+ Resource CD Online
The COM+ Resource CD, first available at Tech·Ed 99, contains a wealth of information on COM+. Included in the CD are streaming media presentations, Microsoft® PowerPoint® slides, white papers, book chapters, training and feedback information for COM+. For your convenience, we have made the contents of the CD available to you on the Microsoft COM Web site.
