Developer Updates
Microsoft is committed to providing developers with the latest, most reliable version of the Microsoft^® virtual machine (Microsoft VM) and other components to aid in their application development efforts. Use this resource to locate updates and additions occurring after the SDK for Java 3.2 release. These ongoing updates are not critical and are not necessary for non-developers. Important The Microsoft VM updates available below will not install on Windows 2000 Beta 3 or later.

Microsoft Virtual Machine (Build 3188, released 10/20/99)
This download is the latest version of the Microsoft VM. It contains fixes to VM Build 3167 (released with SDK 3.2). This list can be viewed in the 3188 update notes.

C Header File for Java/COM (Released 5/26/99)
This new C header file, comattr.h, contains structural definitions and constants for Java class file attributes used by Java/COM. The Microsoft VM uses these attributes to provide interoperability between Java and COM.
