Here's your strip. I've said it before, and I'll say it again (and again and again, if the past teaches us any lessons whatsoever) - Crazy Taxi kicks ass. It not only kicks ass, it kicks ass in real-time - or something! If we're not playing Zombie Revenge, we're playing Crazy Taxi. If we're not playing Crazy Taxi, and we're not playing Zombie Revenge, we're probably eating Chinese food. Can you blame us? Of course, when Carrier comes out, all bets are off. I've just "Akamaized" the website, which is supposed to improve performance for international viewers as well as everybody else and everyone they know. In addition, it speeds healing of minor cuts and bruises while it slow-roasts your lean ground beef. Is it working at all? Drop me a line, or stop by the magical (some would say enchanted!) forum. There's screenshots galore out there - tasty ones. Gamespot UK is happy to hook us up in this case - when you're done taking in the breathtaking vistas in these Warcraft 3 pics, try on these Anachronox shots. I'd still like to see some shots of a combat sequence from Anox, as I'm quite curious what kind of tack they'll take. We were given a pretty cool (excluthive!) screenshot from the game a while back - I still think it's one of the best out there. It is with significant pleasure that I announce the following: Friday, February the 26th, at some time, Epic will release the new Unreal Tournament Bonus Pack on GameCenter. The blurb they've got on the site claims that it will include:
I'm pretty sure that first item there isn't right, though. If I recall correctly, it was going to be three new models, which is of considerably more interest to me. I hope I'm not wrong on this one, as I currently have something of a surplus in the skin department. I've just looked back and re-read that last sentence - let me assure you, there is no double meaning to it. Texture Skins, sickos! For game models! Speaking of which, I've seen preview shots of some Penny Arcade Quake 3: Arena models, and they're lookin' dyn-o-mite. My parting shot in that last news post concerned the "Teleportation Patch", a new hoobajoo from Maxis which allows one to upload personal SimFamilies to their servers. People can then nab them and install them on their own machine, but it will overwrite your own Sims if they live in the same plot. Well, I went ahead today and put up the three families we've got going - you can obtain them here. I think Lucy Bee has the coolest house of the bunch, but the Hubble residence ("Chez Hubble") is nothing to sneeze at either. Confidential to The Supreme Bean: Happy birthday to you! (CW)TB out.
sometimes, i think it's a shame
