Welcome to the new redesigned spanware.com. I have removed frames for all you lynx users. There is also a new version of SambaLink/Q, along with a new TSambaClass. You can also download TSambaClass documentation (including the new TSambaStatus class) here or view it online here. You can download the new version of the RPM here. The source can be had here. The new class, TSambaStatus class does some easy reporting of Samba shares and file locks.

New documentation for TSambaClass. The new documentation is organized using KDoc, which generates HTML from header files. You can go directly to the documentation here. The new docs will be incorporated into the class library archives in the next couple days.

A day late, but I have removed all the .GIFs from this site (all 5 of them). I have converted them to .PNG, but alas, Pagemill (which is very dreadful in its own right), does not support them, so I will have to manually insert them in the links page. For more on this truly stupid patent, see here.

New version of SambaLink/Q and a binary RPM for those who hate building source. The new source tarball now links statically against TSambaClass. I will update SambaLink32 to update against the Win32 static version of its lib as well. This means that the source code for TSambaClass is not included in the source. It is available as a separate download. Maintenance was becoming troublesome.

Sorry about all the delays in updating the site. More stuff is on the way soon. Including new docs for TSambaClass, RPMs for SambaLink/Q, and hopefully a new Delphi component as well. Most of this stuff should be showing up in the next month.

SambaLink/Q v .27 and TSambaClass 1.1 released. SambaLink/Q is a Qt version of SambaLink32. They look a lot alike, and they both use TSambaClass to access the smb.conf file.
SambaLink32 has also been updated with the new class library. This is just a freshening of the files. No new features.

QInputBox released. QInputBox acts somewhat like the InputBox function for Delphi/C++ Builder for Qt.
