Creative Labs one upped their standard SoundBlaster Live! with
a new Live! Platinum card. The new board features a "Live Drive" that
takes up a hard drive bay, but allows connectivity to the front of your computer
so you don't have to mess around on the floor in the back anymore. The SoundBlaster
Live! Platinum uses the EMU10K1 wave table synthesis chip supporting up to 1024
simultaneous wavetable voices.
