Y2KNET salutes every man; women and child who cared enough to learn and share the message of preparedness. It may just be that the unsung hero’s of the Y2K rollover success are those courageous leaders who put their reputations on the line to call our corporate and government leaders into accountability and get this job done on time. We wish to congratulate all those who erred on the side of wisdom and preparedness.

Y2KNET’s mission was to educate the public about verifiable year 2000 risks free of charge, thanks to the benevolence of our sponsor, Swiss America CEO, Craig Smith. His slogan, "Thinking Globally, Preparing Locally" resonated with millions of Americans groping for Y2K answers in the face of a steady diet of troubling statistics about lacking domestic and international Y2K readiness.
