Details:
The book will be published before the end of March.
It will be an evolving ebook (the book is initially unfinished, but you get updates for the rest of its life).
There will be a free online version. To support my work, you can also buy the ebook version (PDF, EPUB, MOBI) for $30.
About the book
Exploring ES6 …
… contains reliable and in-depth information on ECMAScript 6, the next version of JavaScript.
… is a book for people who already know JavaScript. If you are a programmer and want to learn JavaScript (up to and including ECMAScript 5), check out Axel’s book “Speaking JavaScript” (free to read online).
(Even though the official name is now ECMAScript 2015, I’ll keep calling it ECMAScript 6 – for now – because that’s how everybody knows this version.)
About the author
Dr. Axel Rauschmayer specializes in JavaScript and web development. He teaches classes for Ecmanauten, blogs at 2ality.com, holds talks and workshops at conferences and organizes the MunichJS user group.
★★★★★For beginners and pros
Reads like a good novel. Very comprehensive.

★★★★★Fantastic new book (especially for people who can already code in another language)
Fantastic book. The format has short sample code following each explanation, and that is EXTREMELY HELPFUL. In addition, the language is very precise. The best JS book I have seen for existing programmers who already know another language.
