[Pythonmac-SIG] What do people use Mac Python for?

I'll let others comment on tk, I got annoyed early on, and haven't done
much with it since.

You may also be interested in wx-users and/or wx-dev, for info about the
progress of the wxMac project. As far as I know, wxMacPython is on a
bunch of people's list as a good idea, and a few people have stated that
they are working on it, but no one has released even an early alpha
version, so who knows? It's really still waiting for someone who wants
it badly enough to do it. wxMac itself has made a lot of progress
lately. This is a recent post on wx-dev:

thanks for the flowers - but these also go to all people who sent in
specific bug reports and especially Robert - his designer was the best
test
base for the platform port I could imagine , and whenever I had a
problem I
could ask him about the way he handled these kind of things in GTK which
is
way easier than to figure out what MS-Windows does in its internal
implementation ...
