for U.S. Senator from Florida
Opposing Representative Bill McCollum (R)
State Insurance Commissioner Bill Nelson is running for retiring Republican Senator Connie Mack's seat in Florida. His opposition includes Rep. Bill McCollum who hopes to trade on his high-profile role as impeachment manager to get into the U.S. Senate. A Yale graduate, Bill Nelson has served three terms in the Florida state House and five terms in the U.S. House of Representatives. Nelson is running a strong race and has a good shot at winning this important seat.

Jim Matheson (D)
for Utah's 2nd Congressional District
Opposing Rep. Merrill Cook (R)
Jim Matheson, a prominent businessman and son of former Utah governor Scott Matheson, is challenging right wing Rep. Merrill Cook in Utah's 2nd Congressional District. Working as a conservative radio talk show host, Cook was elected to Congress in 1996 and his erratic style in office has alienated many voters in his district. In a head-to-head match, Matheson currently outpolls Cook and has a great chance to take this seat, but faces a tough race. He needs your support.

Rep. Debbie Stabenow (D)
for U.S. Senator from Michigan
Opposing Senator Spencer Abraham (R)

Two term Congresswomen Debbie Stabenow is running an aggressive campaign to replace Senator Spencer Abraham of Michigan. The arch-conservative Abraham was a key voice in torpedoing early bipartisan efforts in the Senate to spare the country a full-blown impeachment trial. Disconnected and not particularly well-known by his constituents, Abraham is widely regarded as one of the most vulnerable incumbents in the country. Representative Stabenow is widely respected in Michigan and has a great shot at taking this Senate seat, with your support.

Scotty Baesler (D)
for Kentucky's 6th Congressional District
Opposing Rep. Ernie Fletcher (R)
Scotty Baesler is working to retake the House seat he left to run unsuccessfully for the Senate last year, losing by only 6,000 votes. As Representative, Baesler was the only member of the Kentucky delegation voting against impeachment. Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, known best for his relentless opposition to campaign finance reform, is leading the charge for the incumbent Fletcher. Scotty Baesler has a solid record of working for campaign finance reform, gun safety, better education, and health care reform. With your support, he will retake his seat and swing the balance in Congress.

Freshman Representative Jay Inslee was the first to run anti-impeachment ads during his campaign in 1998. Shining a light on extremism in Washington, he handily defeated his opponent. Representative Inslee is now a high-profile target of congressional leadership, including PACs run by Dick Armey and Tom Delay. They are contributing directly to his likely opponent and plan to run unregulated "issue advertising" in the district to unseat Inslee. Your support will be critical to retaining this key seat in the House.

State Rep. Lauren Beth Gash (D)
for Illinois' 10th Congressional District
Open Seat

State Representative Lauren Beth Gash is running for Congress in this suburban Chicago district, vacated by retiring Rep. John Porter (R). Having served in the Illinois state legislature since 1993, she’s known for her defense of children’s welfare and for her strong leadership on gun control legislation. A moderate candidate with broad appeal, Gash has a good chance of taking this swing district. However, even though she will not have a primary challenge, this will be an expensive race against well-funded opponents. She urgently needs our help.
