Description:

This example demonstrates how to script your Java Application using
AppleScript. Functionality mimics the old black billiard ball that you
asked a fortune and then shook vigorously in order to receive a cryptic
reply.

To submit your question to the "Magic Oracle", type your yes or no
question in the text field and click the "Ask Oracle" button, press
return or enter, or grab the ball with your mouse and shake it around
the screen.

This sample demonstrates:

Adding basic scriptability support to your Java application

How to create a bean info to enhance the automatically generated 'aete' created by the introspector

How to script your java application using the Scriptable Text Editor

Requirements: Apple Macintosh with Power PC processor, 64 megs of RAM, System 8.1, MRJ 2.0 or Later
MRJ SDK 2.1 (optional)




Samples posted after the release of Mac OS X are designed to built with Project Builder and Mac OS X, or CodeWarrior 6 unless otherwise noted (Note, CodeWarrior 6 projects can be opened in CodeWarrior 5).

The newest Carbon SDK and Universal Interfaces can be found with Development Kits. Archives can be uncompressed with StuffIt Expander 5.0 or later.
