Two Awards

Intel® Play™ Toys:
A Joint Effort
IAL and Mattel jointly set up the Smart Toys Lab to design interactive toys. The first Intel® Play™ toy, the QX3* Computer Microscope, lets kids magnify objects up to 200X, make time-lapse movies of objects changing, and add special effects. The newest Intel Play toy, the Me2Cam* video camera with Fun Fair* software that lets kids become stars in their own games, is now available online.

Industry Success
The USB (Universal Serial Bus ) 2.0 Promoter Group announced a new target speed that is 40 times faster than USB 1.1. The IAL Scalable Platforms initiative was instrumental in advancing the first USB specification, which allows you to easily connect different devices like cameras, printers and scanners to your PC.
