The chat areas here at About.com are like most other things here - maintained by the guides and organized by topic. Its another great way to find focused discussions on your favorite subjects. While most chat sessions will be unmoderated, you can check the chat schedule to see if I have any special events scheduled. For a log of past featured chat sessions, see the chat logs.

Be sure to stop by Thursdays at 9pm (eastern), 6pm (pacific), for our regularly schedule chat session. The room is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so feel free to come by other times to meet up with other Java maniacs.
