Can I use Sun's JavaTM technology logos?
Sun does not authorize the use of
the DukeTM character/logo or the Java platform
logo, also called the "steaming cup" or Java
Technology Logo. However, there are a number of
logo usage programs available. For more information
about this, please see our Licensed Logos page.

Do I need to be a member of the Java Developer Connection to use the JUG pages?
You do not need to be a JDC member to browse the existing JUGs or to use the contact information for the JUG owners. You will need a free JDC account to post your information to the pages.
The JDC is a central place for developers to learn about and discuss the latest Java technologies. Membership is free and gives you access to tips, tutorials, forums and announcements.

I'm trying to log into my listing on the JUG pages, but I can't access it.
In September of 2001, we redesigned the JUG site.
As part of this process, we linked the JUG listing
more closely to the Java Developer Connection(SM)
(JDC) accounts. Current listings will need to link
to the JUG owner's existing (or newly created) JDC
account.
Please provide all of the following information, using the 'Need more help?' link below:
- JDC account userid
- permission to reset your JDC password
- name of the JUG
- contact email address of the JUG
- geographic location of the JUG
We'll notify you when the connection has been
made.

What are the JUG pages for?
Java User Groups are virtual or real-world gathering of Java
technology developers. The JUG pages are available to promote your existing Java User Group, find an established group in your area or to let others know that you are interested in starting a group.
Other types of postings are better answered elsewhere. For example, specific technical questions, more information about the Sun Certified Java Programmer program, please use the information provided in the Help Pages.
