Below is a list of sites you might find useful or relevant to Streamripper. It's not a complete list, just all I can think of right now, if you can think of more let me know
Shoutcast: www.shoutcast.com
Where it all started, you can download the Shoutcast server here, as well as listen to about 1000 streams.
Live365: www.live365.com
They list and host about 30,000,000 stations (not really, but a lot). They'll also host your stream for you, for FREE! It's a serious deal, get in on it before they go out of business.
Icecast: www.icecast.org
The original less filling open source Shoutcast clone for Unix, in many ways better. They also list a few streams, been around for a few years, seems to be losing steam, should be supporting ogg vorbis streams soon (yummy). Also I must thank the authors, I have used their source as a reference many a time.

Winamp: www.winamp.com
Umm ... they make "the" mp3 player for Windows. What else is there to say?
Xmms: www.xmms.com
Pretty darn good Winamp clone for Unix boxes.

This has nothing to do with Streamripper, but is a side project of mine where I stream my dad's collection of classical mp3s. It's also the #1 classical music station on Shoutcast, and often the #1 station on Live365.com
