UserCounter (Software: Applet)
UserCounter displays web-page hit information in pie-chart fashion. UserCounter sends the operating system name and browser name to a Perl script. These strings are unique and are incremented and stored at the server by the script. After the script receives and updates this information it then sends back all the unique operating system and browser names in "name=count" string pairs to UserCounter. The applet then tabulates this information into the pie charts and name/count listings for the operating systems and browsers that have already visited the site. Java 1.0.2, Java 1.1.5, and Perl souce files included.
