The perennial question, in certain circles, has less to do with the
nature of your maker than it does about the nature of your preferred
text editor. Do you "<ctrl>X<ctrl>C" or do you
"<esc>:q!" to return to your
shell? That, dear geek, is the perennial question we ask you.
So, in the grand samurai spirit of 'Iron Chef', ThinkGeek presents 'Editor Battle'. In one corner we have the venerable vi editor, and in the opposite corner the illustrious emacs editor. You decide the winner. In a few weeks (mid-september 2000), we'll have a little script running nightly that proportionally tallies the shirts you've purchased and we'll display the battle progress just as the nifty little bar graph below is doing:
What does the shirt say? Well it's a picture of a street corner with a father and his son trying to hide from a police car. The little boy is saying "why are we hiding from the police daddy?" and the father responds differently depending on which shirt you purchase. Zoom in using the pics below:
