- Informix Extension for TCL - the latest release is 4.0 has been tested
on IBM AIX, Sun SOLARIS, SCO
ODT, OpenServer, UnixWare, SGI IRIX and Linux. It has support for all the
extensions of Informix 7.x
including stored procs, connect, blobs, etc. The release also comes with a
pure-TCL extension which allows
your Win 95, NT or non-database UNIX servers/clients to connect to an
Informix database on another Unix
server without the need for ODBC or other Informix drivers. All the Informix
extensions are supported
including the proper error propagation. As far the PC/UNIX client is
concerned, the database will be
attached to the local drive. A rpc based extension is also provided to
connect other non Informix databases.

it will run under Windows NT, Windows 95, and Windows 3.1 ??? (with
