A. First, you need to get a Java
Development Kit appropriate for your computer platform.
After installing, you will need to add the bin
directory from the JDK to your PATH. You are now set
to develop programs written in the Java language.
If you need help developing, go through the various tutorials, free Java books, and other resources available here. Periodically, I
describe exactly what Java is or how to go through all the
necessary steps to get started.
Q. What is the relationship between JavaScript and
Java?
A. JavaScript and Java are two independent products.
While loosely related as parts of browsers, they are not the
