Mapil makes secure email more convenient by mediating between PGP and a mail agent. Mapil is a script, written in Python, that interfaces with the encryption product PGP to encode or decode email messages. It supports the P/MIME standard for encrypting or signing MIME messages and can maintain a database of recipients so you can automatically tailor your messages to your recipient. Mapil should run on all unix platforms with a python interpreter. PGP versions 2.x and 5.0 are currently supported.
