Deskware is a small but growing, privately held software company devoted to producing high-quality software tools and innovative internet programming languages. Deskware sells its products (VACE Maintenance Workbench™ and CobolScript™) exclusively over the Web.
VACE™ is a source code understanding tool for maintaining existing programs written in COBOL, PL/I, RPG, and Mainframe Assembler. CobolScript a platform-independent internet programming language developed by Deskware. It is used for programming interfaces and business-oriented web applications. CobolScript implements a subset of the COBOL (Common Business Oriented Lanaguage) programming language commands, and also contains its own superset of commands and syntax to simplify web and interface development. CobolScript is an easy-to-learn alternative to Java or Perl programming.
