fpArchie is an Archie client for Windows 95 and Window NT that is used to search for files on multiple FTP sites. What is Archie, you ask? Archie is a searchable file index of many anonymous FTP-servers all over the world. There are different ways to get the information from an Archie-server, like telnet, e-mail, the World Wide Web or a client-program like fpArchie. The fpArchie interface has a close resemblance to the Find File applet in Windows 95 Explorer. If you can work with Find, you can work with fpArchie. fpArchie has built in FTP support. If you have found the file you where looking for, simply right-click the on file to download it.
