Party 2 -- I have to admit, when I first heard of the title "Mario Party",
I thought it was gonna be another weird piece of crap that I had to live
through for my Nintendo 64. I was wrong. The concept is so simple, yet unique.
Nintendo sure has a way with turning any concept into a wonderful game. Now
they seek to reclaim the party magic with a sequel to their puzzler, Mario
Party 2.
Mortal
Kombat Special Forces -- I remember the day I first got my hands on Mortal
Kombat. Oh what fun I had. Blood, guts, and fatalities. Then came the sequel
and I was hooked. Of course, everything went downhill from there. Well, now
MK is back, and this time in a completely different form. |

-- The developers of Berserk have gone out of their way to take the title
of "bloodiest game" well away from the Mortal Kombat series. And by far and
away, they have. Body parts..nay whole torsos fly across the screen. Blood,
brains, and gray matter form disgusting pools at your feet.
Vigilante 8:
Second Offense -- Ahh. The morning drive to work or school (in Ronin's
case, home from the bar). This daily routine of triple no signal lane changes,
tailgating, speeding, cutting off, and road rage is just the pinnacle of
finger flicking fun that is the American driving experience. It's the time
of year where combat driving sims make their debut. |

Unreal
Tournament -- Damn Epic and Mark Rein. Damn them for creating a game
so good and addictive that I have destroyed my mouse. Unreal Tournament has
gone gold and thus it's time for a preview again. One problem is, I have
to use all keyboard commands to write it. Damn them. |

Racing Adventure -- I know what you Nintendo fans out there are thinking;
"What the hell is wrong with Rare?! What's so freakin' important that I gotta
wait another 7 months before I get to play Perfect Dark?!" Well, I'll tell
you what they're doing, you impatient jackhole. They're creating a game so
bad ass that you'll be beating the crap out of Toys R Us employees just to
get this title. HERE COMES MICKEY'S RACING ADVENTURE!!! |
