MacroBot 3.0 is now free to
use and is compatible with
web pages that use frame
technology. The software comes
with scripts for searching
YAHOO search results.
MacroBot is a simple, yet sophisticated
personal search agent that sends robots
on to the Internet to find and save data
according to user specified criteria.
MacroBot creates site maps, extracts
email addresses, keyword searches urls
and can strip or save html code with text
among a host of other useful operations.
The cool thing about MacroBot is users
can copy & paste small macro programs into
MacroBot or create their own using the
Basic programming language. Programming
documentation is included with the software
and macros for searhing Yahoo search results
can be downloaded with MacroBot's internal
browser.
MacroBot works with password protected
web sites and proxy servers and includes
an easy-to-use Wizard tab menu interface
for searching web pages as well as a
Classic 'mode' for creating or importing
custom programming scripts.
Text with or without html can be saved to
MacroBot's internal database or to .html
files.
MacroBot 3.0 works with frames technology and
is free to use after registering.

browser and a must have tool for the serious
