3.2-compliant, memory-efficient Web browser designed for the emerging
generation of Internet-connected consumer devices. The browser
supports today's Internet standards to ensure users are able to view a
wide range of Web pages. A very robust memory management model makes
the browser highly reliable and stable.
The browser provides added value to telephone manufacturers through
its specialized telephony capability. Users of the Personal Applications browser can
click on a Web page's phone number and have the phone automatically
dial the number, making it very well suited for the new generation of
smart phones.
The browser's consumer-friendly user interface offers a
special zoom feature for navigating Web pages from a small screen.
The user interface can also be tailored to meet the special requirements of other types
of consumer devices, including set-top boxes and car navigation
systems. As with all Personal Applications software, its functionality can be easily extended at design time or over the network.
